THE FOLIOTERN WORKBENCH

Turn your export into the import you need.

Prepare a CSV, TSV or Excel table for another system. Select source columns, give them the destination headers, reorder them and add default or constant values without editing the original file.

A PRACTICAL EXAMPLE

Map Customer → Full Name and Email → Email Address, omit internal notes, and add a constant Country column containing SG. The result follows your chosen column order.

01

Start with your source export

Import a table and review the source columns. Remove the output columns you do not need. Original rows stay in your browser.

02

Build the destination layout

Rename destination headers and use the arrows to reorder them. A default fills an empty source cell. Choose Constant value to add the same value to every row. Output header names must be unique.

03

Export and reuse

Download the mapped CSV or XLSX table. Check your destination’s required fields before importing. Save the column mapping to your account to reuse it with the next compatible file.

Know what to expect

This tool prepares the data layout. It does not connect to the destination, verify its current import schema or submit the import.

Supports CSV, TSV and unencrypted XLSX, up to 20 MB per file and 100 input columns. Free use includes 2,000 total input rows per run. Excel downloads contain text cells to preserve identifiers such as 00123. Workbook styling and formulas are not retained.

Clean CSV & Excel files

Trim spaces, remove duplicate rows and standardise selected date and number columns. Download a change report alongside your cleaned data.

Compare Excel & CSV files by ID

Match records using an ID, even when rows move. See added, removed, changed and ambiguous records with their source-row references.

Merge CSV & Excel files online

Stack exports with different headers or join two files using an ID. Keep source file and row details so the combined result is easier to trace.
