Monthly subscriptions. No per-seat add-on within the listed allowance. Prices in USD.
How the annual comparison works
Crossed-out amounts are the total of 12 separate monthly payments at the listed monthly rate. They are not previous selling prices. Annual options cost the same as 10 monthly payments and require a full year’s payment upfront. Applicable tax is shown before checkout.
What the allowances mean
Free includes one workspace with 50 KB of saved data, 25 tasks, 3 projects, 5 notes, 5 bills, 3 subscriptions, 5 requests, 10 contacts and 100 transactions. Paid workspaces support up to 1,000 tasks, 100 category budgets, 100 recurring cash-flow rules and 5,000 workflow-run records, within a 1.5 MB data limit each. Project allowances are Everyday 30, Professional 100 and Teams 200. Everyday and above: workflow rules check entered bills, renewals, overdue tasks and pending requests when you save or select Run rules. They create internal tasks once per rule, source and date. They do not run while the website is closed or send messages to external services.
One selected currency per workspace; amounts are not converted. Bill and subscription records can create linked paid expenses to avoid counting the same recorded period twice. Cancellation records require a provider confirmation entered by you; the website does not cancel with the provider. Calendar exports are snapshots you import yourself, with no live sync or guaranteed notification delivery.
Seats include the owner and pending invitations. Every member can read all data in that workspace. Only the owner manages sharing. Recording request decisions requires Professional or Teams. Bulk decisions require Teams and are limited to 100 pending requests per action. Reports require a saved workspace and an eligible owner plan; the command centre includes only workspaces owned by the signed-in account, with totals separated by currency. Editors update other records; viewers read and export. Shared editing requires an eligible active plan. After expiry, records remain readable and exportable; new growth is limited. Recent account activity is not restorable version history.
Spreadsheet input rows count across all selected sheets in a run. Files are limited to 20 MB each, 50 MB combined, 100 columns and two million imported cells; XLSX expansion is limited to 40 MB. Browser memory can impose lower limits. PDF and image limits appear in their tools.
How premium access works
After a verified Stripe payment, the server grants the plan through the paid subscription period. Every premium report and action checks this stored status and the workspace permissions. A return from checkout, a query parameter or a changed browser setting cannot grant a paid plan. The same checks protect rule execution, approvals, bulk decisions and the command centre. Local file processing stays available within its browser limits; saved-workspace services provide the paid features.
What is not included
Receipt scanning, where enabled, creates a draft for review and consumes a plan allowance; it never adds a cost without confirmation. No plan includes bank or inbox feeds, automatic subscription cancellation, outgoing email, calendar sync, unattended external automation, payment transfers, payroll, tax filing, InvoiceNow connectivity, enterprise SSO or a production SLA. This is an operations workspace, not a complete ERP or certified HR or accounting system. FolioTern is delivered through this website on compatible desktop and mobile browsers.
The bank statement converter
Its account history has a separate monthly cloud-save allowance: Free 5, Everyday 100, Professional 500 and Teams 2,000 pages. A page represents up to 50 saved transactions, with up to 100 bank documents. Local conversion and downloads remain available within the tool’s file limits.
